Thanks to all of the students who helped raise money for the PAWS Humane Society!
Washington Academy students participate in the Be a Reading Kid (BARK) Program. Each month students set a goal for the number of minutes they would like to spend reading that month.
WA kicked off this incentive by raising money for PAWS Humane Society in Rockford. Students in K-5 presented a check to PAWS for $833.76.
The class that raised the most money is Mrs. Kurt’s class at $93.58. Second place went to Mrs. Musial’s class with $75.97 and third place, with $64.47, went to Mrs. Protz’s class.
