Virtual Backpack

orange backpackVirtual Backpack is the Belvidere School District's electronic method of working to reduce paper waste and provide information quickly and efficiently.  Flyers that were previously sent home in backpacks will now be included in the Virtual Backpack. 

If you do not have access to a printer, you may request a paper copy of a flyer from your child's school.

Flyer Submission Guidelines:

  • Those wishing to submit information to be posted on this Virtual Backpack site must do so by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and attaching a PDF of the requested posting.

  • This should be done at least 10 days in advance of the desired posting date.

  • Organizations are limited to postings of one a month, with a two-month limit for any one posting. Approved postings will be updated on a weekly basis.

  • Only non-profit organizations will be allowed to have materials posted on the Virtual Backpack site. Distribution of materials for commercial businesses or organizations will not be permitted.

  • All activities or information must be appropriate for students. Activities and information should relate to a school function, event or purpose, or relate to an organization that offers widely-appealing recreational program options for District 100 students. Approval of any and all flyers is at the discretion of District 100 administrators.
