High School start times are changing beginning with the 2017-2018 school year.

Students will now begin school at 8:15 and their day will end at 3:01. Instead of early dismissal days, the high schools will utilize "Late Starts." Those days will begin at 8:50 and end at 3:01. Early dismissal days will remain for elementary and middle school students.

This new schedule will allow for a zero hour from 7:20-8:08am. However, a zero-hour will not be offered at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year. It may be an opportunity in the near future. A zero hour will provide more flexibility and options for scheduling and course requests for students.

This time change will benefit your child by allowing collective planning time for teachers ensures all students have equal access to quality instruction and provides an environment of continuous investigation and improvement by staff.

If your child rides the bus, a letter will be sent to you from First Student with information on bus routes. This information should arrive to you the first week of August.
