In an effort to rejuvenate recess, student council members wrote a letter to
LES parent, Christopher Cottrell,

requesting much needed recess supplies. Mr.
Cottrell works as a Farmers Insurance agent in Belvidere. Through a company
program, he was able to donate new basketballs, jump ropes, dodge balls, a
football and a flag football set. This new equipment replaces old jump ropes
and basketballs and gives students more alternatives for activities at recess
time. THANK YOU MR. COTTRELL!!
