The student services department ensures school programs and services are provided to all students in the district for the health and wellness of students physically, socially, and emotionally. Specifically, the department works to coordinate the following areas:

Community Resource Coordination
Any homeless child shall be immediately admitted, even if the child or child's parent/guardian is unable to produce records normally required to establish residency. School Board policy 6:140, Education of Homeless Children, and its implementing administrative procedures, as outlined in The Illinois Education for Homeless Children Act and the McKinney Homeless Assistance Act, govern the enrollment of homeless children.
