Community invited to
budget meeting
The Belvidere School
District is the second largest employer in Boone County and has an
operating budget of over $90 million. As the District begins
preparation of a tentative budget for next year, it is partnering with
financial consultant PMA and reaching out to the community.
On Tuesday, February 9
at 5:30 p.m. in the cafe at Belvidere Central Middle School (8787 Beloit
Road, Belvidere), PMA will present a multi-year budget forecast for
District employees and community members. District administrators
will also be on hand to answer questions regarding the budget process.
Please join PMA and
District #100 as they begin to look at federal, state, and local funding
and their impact on the 2010-2011 budget.
